Terms, Conditions and Code of Conduct

Confidentiality

Your privacy is sacred to us. All personal information, health history, and details discussed during your massage sessions are strictly confidential and protected under applicable privacy laws. We will never share, sell, or disclose your information to third parties without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.

Health Information Protection

Your health records, intake forms, and any medical information you provide are securely stored and accessible only to authorized staff members directly involved in your care. These records are retained for in compliance with state regulations and then securely destroyed.

Payment Information Security

All payment information is processed securely through encrypted channels. We do not store full credit card numbers and comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards to protect your financial data.

Draping & Modesty

Your body and dignity are always respected. You will be appropriately draped during your session, with only the area being worked on exposed. You maintain the right to request additional draping at any time.

​Professional Boundaries

Our massage therapy practice maintains strict professional boundaries. The massage therapist-client relationship is therapeutic and professional only. All interactions are conducted with respect, professionalism, and appropriate physical boundaries.

Client Responsibilities​

  • Communicate openly about health conditions, injuries, or concerns

  • Inform the therapist of any discomfort during the session

  • Maintain appropriate professional conduct throughout your session

Prohibited Behavior

Clients are expected to conduct themselves with respect and professionalism. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of service and potential removal from our client roster:

  • Sexual or Inappropriate Conduct – Any sexual advances, inappropriate touching, suggestive comments, or requests of a sexual nature

  • Harassment – Verbal, physical, or written harassment of any kind

  • Disrespect or Abuse – Disrespectful language, threats, or abusive behavior toward the therapist or staff

  • Intoxication – Arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Violation of Professional Boundaries – Attempting to establish personal or romantic relationships with the therapist

Consequences of Misconduct

Any violation of this code of conduct will result in:

  1. First Offense – Verbal warning and discussion of expectations

  2. Second Offense – Written warning; client may be required to reschedule with a different therapist

  3. Third Offense – Immediate termination of service; client will be asked to seek services elsewhere

In cases of severe misconduct (sexual harassment, threats, or abuse), we reserve the right to immediately terminate service without warning, the full session and 20% admin fee will be applied, and we will pursue legal recourse.​​​

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to be present for their scheduled appointment without a 24 hr prior cancellation will be charged 100% of the session fee + 20% admin fee.

Exceptions

The following circumstances may qualify for fee waiver or reduction at the therapist's discretion:​

  • Severe illness or injury preventing attendance

  • Death or serious family emergency

  • Documented natural disasters or severe weather

Clients experiencing these circumstances should contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.
